A Westport-based developer is proposing a mixed-use project on Farmington Avenue in Bristol with a fast-food restaurant, drive-up window, car wash and medical office.

Targeted Endurance Bristol LLC of Westport and Ponte Vedre, Fla., is looking to build at 1251 and 1265 Farmington Ave., Route 6.

The roughly 9-acre parcel is mostly vacant except for a few structures including a house, small greenhouse, barn, farmland, woodlands, and wetlands.

A developer is planning to build a mixed-use complex with a fast-food restaurant, car wash and medical building on this parcel along Farmington Avenue in Bristol.

The plan, which was approved by the city Zoning Commission Monday, calls for a 26,000-square-foot medical office building, 5,500-square-foot fast-food restaurant, 3,500-square-foot car wash, 160 parking spaces, sidewalks and one entrance  driveway at Farmington Avenue and Sheila Court.

The site is bordered by mixed-use commercial properties including a retail center,  a small medical office, condominiums and fast-food restaurants.

The property is owned by the Estates of Douglas and Jeanette Mahannah of Unionville, Conn.
