What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
My biggest professional accomplishment has been making partner at my law firm.
How are you involved in the community?
I am the vice president of the board of directors for the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce and serve on multiple committees. I also serve on the board for the New England Veterans Chamber of Commerce. I also volunteer at my children’s school.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to spend time with my husband and two little girls. I also enjoy reading and deer hunting.
How will the coronavirus pandemic change the way you work long term? The coronavirus has caused me to embrace technology. I purchased a webcam and have been conducting client meetings via Zoom, which my clients seem to prefer. I will continue to offer virtual meetings as an option to all of my clients.
Four reasons why you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty:
Recently named a partner at Kahan Kerensky Capossela LLP in just under five years, helping to grow the firm.
Provides pro bono legal assistance to local veterans in need in multiple areas of law.
