The MetroHartford Alliance on Monday is debuting its new downtown Hartford headquarters.

After more than 15 years at 31 Pratt St., the Alliance has relocated to the city’s tallest office tower.

The private economic development organization signed a five-year lease to occupy about 4,500 square feet of mezzanine-level space in City Place I, a 38-story, 884,669-square-foot Class A property.

The Alliance said it is hosting a ribbon-cutting and open house at 4 p.m. Monday to show off the new office. The space will also be home to the Alliance’s umbrella organizations: the Hartford Chamber of Commerce, Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services (CT IFS), Connecticut Health Council, and HYPE.

“Our new office at City Place I reaffirms our commitment to Hartford’s growth,” said David Griggs, the Alliance’s president and CEO. “This accessible location brings us closer to the community we serve and strengthens our ability to support the economic development that drives Hartford forward.”
