Celebrating its 75th anniversary year, Acme Monaco is a third-generation custom manufacturer of catheter guidewires, stylets, orthodontic hardware, springs, stampings, wireforms and retaining rings for various industries.
Tell us about your recent accomplishments.
In addition to celebrating its 75th year in business, Acme Monaco experienced record-breaking sales in the last fiscal year. The company also developed new state-of-the-art automation technology for its manufactured medical device products and new patents for the orthodontic industry.
How has your company shifted its strategy during the pandemic?
Our shift during the pandemic focused on production of catheter guidewires, which were needed globally for patients coming off ventilators. By shifting staff from business units to help with this production, we were able to maintain a level workforce with no layoffs during the pandemic.
Where do you see your business in the next five years?
We are looking to expand our global footprint and continuing to grow in the med-device space with new technology.
What are your family values and how do they contribute to your business success?
Our family has high business ethics and we treat all our team members as if they are family. We also believe in giving back to the community in which we live and work.
What are your guiding business principles?
Providing our customers with the highest quality products and delivering them on-time at a fair price is key. We believe in transparency with our team and hold weekly meetings to share our company sales goals so that all team members work in unison. In addition, when sales goals are met, team members are rewarded with additional time off.
