A mixed-use commercial and residential building on Route 1 in Clinton has sold for more than half a million dollars.
The 13,700-square-foot, two-building property features four retail storefronts and two residential apartments at 204 East Main St., which sold for $640,000 in a deal recorded Aug. 18.
The property also has two industrial storage buildings with space available for lease.
The front building was built in 1947, according to town records. The property also has a building in the back, which was built in 1970.
The property has a total appraised value of $738,600.
The plaza has been home to an automotive shop, a liquor store and dance studio.
Will Braun of Branford-based O,R&L Commercial represented the seller, Cloud Nine, LLC, and also procured the buyers, Wilson Santiago and Scott Santiago of Clinton.
O,R&L Commercial has offices in Branford and Rocky Hill, with agents representing landlords, tenants, sellers and buyers in office, retail, medical, multi-family, investment and industrial deals.
