Movers & Shakers: Cardenas promoted to 'acting' position at Trinity College

Sonia Cardenas has been appointed as acting dean of the faculty and vice president for academic affairs at Trinity College, effective now through June 30, 2022.

Cardenas has been serving as interim dean of the faculty and vice president for academic affairs since summer, 2019.

Travis Lane has joined the wealth management team at Massachusetts-based Berkshire Bank, and will provide investment management services to various client accounts out of the Glastonbury office.

Lane previously worked as a financial advisor at a Greater Hartford registered investment advisor firm.

Jason Cheung was hired at the Connecticut Data Collaborative (CT Data), a public-private partnership that advocates for the public availability of open and accessible data, as a data analyst.

Cheung previously worked as an actuarial assistant with Voya Financial.

Robin Nielsen has joined West Hartford-based independent investment advisory firm YHB Investment Advisors Inc. as an operations assistant, and will be responsible for coordinating the firm’s compliance testing and review process.

Nielsen previously worked in the South Windsor school system.
