Murtha Cullina LLP has announced new attorneys in its Hartford office: Bruce L. McDermott, Ryan M. Suerth and Proloy K. Das.
McDermott has joined as a partner in the regulatory department. He will be a member of the energy, water and environmental practice groups. His practice includes energy, public utility, environmental and infrastructure law, including litigation, transactional and regulatory representation and counseling.
Suerth has joined as a partner in the litigation department. He is an insurance recovery litigation attorney who represents large business policyholders, including real estate developers and general contractors, in coverage and other insurance-related matters.
Das has joined as counsel and will chair the firm’s appellate practice group. Das has argued more than 50 appeals in the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts and has authored numerous articles on developing trends in the law.
Murtha Cullina also welcomes three new associates in Connecticut: Sarah M. Gruber, litigation in Hartford; Daniel J. Kagan, health care in New Haven; and Spencer A. Stone, real estate in Hartford.
