American hot dog brand Nathan’s Famous opened a new location Friday in the food court at Stamford Town Center shopping mall.
It is on the mall’s top floor in the former location of Indian eatery Kai Manam.
"Our new food court location offers shoppers the flavor of New York right here in Connecticut,” said Nathan’s Famous franchisees Zaida Miranda and Hans Rojas.
The location offers publicly traded Nathan’s Famous all-beef hot dogs, crinkle-cut French fries, chicken sandwiches, corn dogs, slushies, burgers and shakes.
It also carries items from food chain Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips.
"Stamford Town Center is excited to welcome Nathan's Famous to our dining lineup," said Dan Stolzenbach, general manager of Stamford Town Center. "Their addition brings a beloved American brand to our food court and enhances the dining experience for our shoppers."
Nathan’s Famous has Connecticut locations in Southington, Stonington and Trumbull, according to its website.
Nathan's Famous, founded in 1916 at Brooklyn’s Coney Island by Polish immigrant Nathan Handwerker, has over 40,000 franchise locations worldwide.
