NEFCO completes acquisition of Newman Associates

East Hartford-based NEFCO, a family-owned and operated construction supply company, has completed the acquisition of Canton, Mass.-based Newman Associates, the company announced Monday.
It marks NEFCO’s seventh acquisition since 2017 and its third acquisition during 2022. In June, NEFCO expanded its reach to the Midwest with the acquisition of Jiffy Fastening Systems.
Founded in 1964, Newman Associates is a distributor of pipe hangers and supports to the construction, infrastructure, and water and wastewater treatment industries.

NEFCO has 20 locations along the East Coast and provides localized, contractor-centric services.
