Nelson promoted to region manager at Cox Communications

Cox Communications has promoted Ross L. Nelson to senior vice president and region manager for the company’s Northeast region, encompassing service areas in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Ohio. 

Nelson will lead the region’s operations, with direct supervision over field-based functions and about 1,000 employees.

He succeeds Jay Allbaugh, who retired in June. Nelson began his new role July 1.
