A Torrington-based developer is looking to build a 10,800-square-foot commercial building on Enfield property that was recently re-subdivided.
Garrett Homes LLC and principal Gary Eucalitto are proposing to develop a portion of vacant land at 161 Post Office Road.
The land was a 12.7-acre plot of grassy or wooded land with a one-story garage at the intersection of Raffia and Post Office roads.
Applicants recently won Planning and Zoning approval to subdivide the property into a 10.3-acre parcel and a 2.3-acre parcel for the proposed project.
This parcel had been previously subdivided after the Planning and Zoning Commission in 2005 approved a request that split the original parcel into two pieces – the 12.7-acre space and a piece less than half-an-acre where Four Corners Package Store was built.
No tenant has been named for the new project, and Eucalitto could not be reached for comment for more details about the plan.
Garrett Homes builds commercial developments throughout Connecticut, including several Dollar General stores.
Site improvements along with the building includes parking, driveways, stormwater management, lighting, signage and landscaping.
