New Haven manufacturing site sells for $1.2M

260 Wolcott St., New Haven
A New Haven manufacturing building has been sold for $1.2 million.
The 16,000-square-foot building at 260 Wolcott St., was bought by 260 Wolcott Street LLC and principal Richard Criscitello of Berlin from Steinhardt Properties LLC and principal David Steinhardt of New Haven in a deal recorded Aug. 7.
The property is home to Steinhardt’s D.S. Sewing, an industrial sewing and heat-sealing manufacturer that made car, boat and truck tarps and pool and deck covers.
Built in 1981, the property was previously owned by the Feldman Glass Co., according to city records.
The property has an appraised value of $686,500.
