New Haven-based Sally’s Apizza will open its newest location in Wethersfield next week, one of four new sites planned for the Hartford area.
The new restaurant will open on Thursday, Aug. 29 on a first-come, first-served basis, with reservations available starting the next night and beyond.
The new Sally’s is located in the ground level of The Borden residential apartments, at 1178 Silas Deane Highway, which was developed by Hartford-based Lexington Partners.
The iconic pizzeria was founded by Salvatore "Sally" Consiglio in 1938 and has become famous for its New Haven-style coal-fired pizza.

The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner and take out seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
