A Massachusetts developer is looking to build a commercial complex near South Windsor’s Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk that would include a new Starbucks and Chipotle.
The six-acre parcel of mostly undeveloped land is Unit 5 of Evergreen Walk, located at Cedar Avenue and Buckland Road in South Windsor.
Applicant O’Evergreen LLC is controlled by O’Connell Development Group based in Holyoke, Mass.
O’Evergreen and O’Connell are also the property owners, and they plan to build three new buildings totaling 10,725 square feet.
One building would contain a 2,400-square-foot Starbucks with a traditional drive-thru lane and patio, and a 1,000-square-foot retail site attached. The Chipotle restaurant would be 2,325 square feet and include a drive-up lane for mobile order pick-up only.
Another building would be a 5,000-square-foot, unnamed restaurant with no drive-thru. The complex would have 191 parking spaces.
