A water filtration systems company with multiple locations throughout the U.S. and Old Saybrook has signed a long-term lease for commercial space in a multi-tenant building.
Infiltrator Water Technologies LLC secured a six-year lease of 15,326 square feet at 139 Mill Rock Road, East, Old Saybrook.
The company makes infiltrators for filtering septic wastes and other liquid items that need filtering.
Their manufacturing plants are located in the southern United States while their corporate headquarters, research and development department, and other office functions are in Old Saybrook.
Infiltrator occupies space in two other buildings in the Old Saybrook Business Park and has been a tenant there for 24 years.
This space on Mill Rock will be used by the research and development team and may be used for other uses in the future.
Infiltrator Vice President Craig Taylor and The Geenty Group, Realtors, negotiated the transaction, with Attorney John Kozich of Harris, McClellan, Binau & Cox, PLL in Columbus, Ohio, also representing the tenant.
The landlord is Mill Rock Leasing LLC. Kevin Geenty was the sole broker in this transaction.
Geenty was also the sole broker for another tenant, Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing, Inc., which signed a three-year lease of more than 29,000 square feet of space at 141 Mill Rock Road, East.
The company is a division of Brunswick Boat Group Inc., a national distributor of products and parts for the boating industry.
The industrial campus also features a daycare facility and a fitness center as well as a full-time property manager on site.
