Trinity Health Of New England is building a medical office complex on a vacant 3-acre property at the corner of Straits Turnpike and Bunker Hill Road in Watertown.
The new “access center” will offer primary care, laboratory/blood draw, physical therapy and OB/GYN services. It will have more than 75 parking spaces and is expected to open this spring, according to Kaitlin Rocheleau, a spokeswoman for the organization.
The new facility is among half a dozen Trinity Health Of New England access centers being added across Connecticut, she said.
“Each location has been thoughtfully selected, based on our communities’ needs,” Rocheleau said. “We examine several factors, including what geographically makes the most sense for patient convenience as well as what location will allow us the ability to work collectively and collaboratively with our existing health care partners to provide the most comprehensive, highest-value care model possible.”
Trinity Health Of New England recently opened similar access centers in Bloomfield, Cheshire and Rocky Hill.
