With diligence and wit Nick Sheridan excels as a financial planner for Lindberg & Ripple, an independent advisory firm. He has over a decade in providing personalized financial planning through a process of understanding what’s most important to his clients beyond their wealth.
Compassion, patience and transparency are just a few of the tenets that guide Sheridan’s philosophy. His attention to detail in his personal and professional life has benefited his clients and the community.
What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
Seeing my clients enjoy their lives to the fullest with the peace of mind knowing that they have the financial security to do so. I enjoy big thinking and strategizing to provide an individualized plan for clients that enables them to understand and sleep well at night.
How are you involved in the community?
As an ally to the gay community and board member of the Hartford Gay & Lesbian Health Collective I’m helping ensure the organization can provide health services, education and advocacy. I’m also supporting the growth of Hartford both socially and financially with the Hartford Foundation and the Bushnell Young Professionals.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I have a passion for working on cars, breaking a sweat at the gym, trying to stay out of the woods while golfing, making people laugh by not taking myself too seriously, tackling do-it-yourself projects, savoring a nice glass of whiskey, and pampering my smart and beautiful wife.
Four reasons why you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty:
• I’m dedicated to helping to make the Greater Hartford community a thriving place for people to want to work, live and play.
• My work with the Hartford Gay & Lesbian Health Collective supports people of diverse sexual orientations and identities.
• My work with the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving helps connect charitable clients to their nonprofit resources.
• My work with the Bushnell Young Professionals provides arts education programming for school children within Greater Hartford.
I cut my own hair.
