Connecticut Humane Society raised over $42,000 through its Diamonds in the Ruff Gala Auction. The United Bank Foundation recently presented a $10,000 check to the Hartford Symphony to fund the HSO Discovery Series concert, performed at The Bushnell to more than 1,300 students from schools in Greater Hartford.

The Connecticut Hospital Association has received a grant from the Connecticut Health Foundation to create a Connecticut Social Health Initiative. The initiative will provide support for hospitals and collaborating organizations to identify and address the social determinants of health for patients at the point of care.

The Liberty Bank Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol Family Center to support Power Hour, a program to help drive academic success for school-age youth.
