A 3,840-square-foot medical office building on the shoreline sold recently for $1.45 million.
Hartford Hospital has fully leased the property, which is at 51 Main St., Old Saybrook.
51 Main Street Property LLC bought the 0.58-acre site from MCA Realty LLC.
51 Main Street Property LLC was formed in April, and its principals are listed as Frank and Lois Noe of Farmington, according to the Secretary of the State’s office.
Tom York, principal of Goman + York Property Advisors, represented the seller and secured the buyer. The real estate firm’s New England base is in East Hartford.
York noted that the location is highly visible, easily accessible and in the heart of Old Saybrook’s Main Street business corridor.
“The ideal property location and strength of Hartford Hospital’s credit led to multiple offers within days of hitting the market,” York said.
The building was originally constructed as a post office circa 1956, then later converted by Middlesex Cardiology to a medical office in 1994, according to an announcement.
