An Oxford-based chemical company, Catachem Inc., has been acquired by a private investor.
Generational Equity, a merger and acquisitions adviser headquartered in Dallas, announced the deal for its client, Catachem. The name of the investor wasn’t disclosed.
The deal closed Feb. 28.
Catachem is a manufacturer of clinical chemistry reagents used on automated analyzers for both veterinary and human diagnostic labs.
‘’Catachem is an innovative company with a long history as an industry leader,” said Ray Palombi, senior merger and acquisition adviser with Generational Equity. “We were able to find the right buyer, with an experienced management team, to carry the company forward.”
