Oxford Performance Materials has opened a new manufacturing facility adjacent to its South Windsor headquarters, the polymer manufacturer announced.

The new space will allow the company — which has focused on biomedical 3-D printed parts — to pivot into aerospace and industrial markets, it said in an announcement.

The facility will house up to six additional laser sintering 3-D printers, the first of which will be installed this fall.
