P2 Science Inc., a Woodbridge-based green chemistry company, recently hired Kari Pekalski to serve as the company’s technical sales manager.
CEO Neil Burns said the addition of Pekalski to the team will help the company build sales for its products. The company opened its first manufacturing plant in September 2018 and produces novel renewable aroma chemicals and cosmetic ingredients.
“She has the skills, experience and attitude to help us keep pace with a huge and growing interest in our unique chemistry for cosmetics and fragrances,” Burns said.
P2 Science was co-founded by Professor Paul Anastas, head of the Yale Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering, and Patrick Foley.
“I’m looking forward to helping bring P2’s whole range of new products to more customers,” Pekalski said.
