Patriot Growth Insurance Services acquires Hamden-based company

A large insurance service provider based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania has expanded its New England footprint by acquiring a Hamden company, Blueprint Benefit Advisors.

Patriot Growth Insurance Services LLC announced the acquisition last week. The company has more than 1,800 employees at 132 sites across the country.

"As we continue to expand in the New England region, Blueprint is a perfect fit to help us drive better solutions for clients,” said Matt Gardner, chairman and CEO of Patriot. “Our core values are aligned perfectly, and we are excited to support them as they continue to grow their terrific agency.”

Blueprint has more than 25 employees and is led by Greg Coyne, Joseph Bucci, Michael Coppola and Matt Luciani.

Blueprint was founded in 2016 by the merger of two long-standing Connecticut agencies, Group Insurance Associates and Group Benefit Administrators of CT.

Patriot, founded in 2019, is one of the largest brokers in the United States and was named 1,280th on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in 2023.
