Property management company sells another New Haven multifamily building

A New Haven multifamily property has been sold for more than $1 million by a city-based property management company.

Ocean Management, as 280 Winthrop Del LLC, last month sold the building at 280 Winthrop Ave., for $1.25 million to 280 Winthrop NH LLC and principal Eliyahu Zohar of New Haven.

The 2.5-story Victorian-style house was built in 1920, and contains 16 apartments over 7,000 square feet.

It was last sold for $410,000 in 2015, and has a total appraised value of $1.3 million, according to city records.  

Shmuel Aizenberg is the principal of Ocean Management LLC, which owns and operates multiple properties in and around New Haven, and has been selling off multifamily properties in the Elm City in recent years, including buildings at 1476 Chapel St., and 1263 Chapel St., in 2023.
