A New Haven-based management company has sold a city apartment building for more than $2 million.
Michael Feld of 1263 Chapel St LLC bought the building at 1263 Chapel St. for $2.3 million from Acrobat Holdings LLC, an affiliate of Ocean Management and principal Shmuel Aizenberg, in a deal recorded Aug. 29.
The three-story building has 12 residential units over 10,650 square feet, blocks away from downtown New Haven and the Yale University campus.
Aizenberg in 2021 acquired numerous multifamily properties in Hartford. In July 2023, he sold a 20-unit apartment building at 1476 Chapel St., for $2.4 million. He has been an active buyer in New Haven and Hartford, but has several properties in foreclosure or facing tax liens, land records show.
The Chapel Street property, built in 1986, has a total appraised value of $1.5 million
