Public hearings on Yale's acquisition of hospitals in Manchester, Waterbury and Vernon start Wednesday

The Office of Health Strategy is holding a public hearing on Wednesday on the proposed sale of Prospect Medical Holding’s area hospitals to Yale New Haven Health.
The proposed sale includes Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital in Vernon, as well as Waterbury Hospital.
OHS must approve a certificate of need if the sale is to go through.
Members of the public are able to view the public hearing and participate in various ways.
