QuEST Global expands ESOP offering

QuEST Global, a Singapore and India-based engineering services outsourcer that works with Pratt & Whitney and other area aerospace clients, said it will offer its employee stock incentive program to more workers.

The expansion of the employee stock option plan, or ESOP, at the private company will apply to some of its 400 engineers based out of offices in East Hartford and Windsor, as well as to a portion of its 11,800 total employees worldwide, a spokesperson told HBJ in an email.

While QuEST did not provide financial details of the broader ESOP, which first launched in 2004, the Times of India reported that 1,500 employees would benefit.

QuEST employees who were a part of the company’s 2004 ESOP grant cycles have seen an 1,100% return on the value of their options, the Times said.

The company's name is an acronym for Quality Engineering & Software Technologies.

Correction: A previous version of this story gave an incorrect total employee count.
