It looks like a 122,008-square-foot retail and office plaza in Rocky Hill is soon going to add a trampoline park following its recent sale for $9 million.
In a sale recorded Sept. 15, a limited liability company tied to Shelton-based commercial real estate company Woodgreen Management sold the plaza at 30 Waterchase Drive to 30 Waterchase LLC.
Woodgreen paid $10.13 million for the property in 2012, according to assessing records.
The new buyer lists a Fall River, Massachusetts address. Its principal is Zi Qian Zhang, of Swansea, Massachusetts. Attempts to reach Zhang were unsuccessful.
The plaza currently hosts a dialysis center and formerly housed a branch of Porter & Chester Institute. An application by Jun Zhang, sharing a Fall River address with the recent buyer of 30 Waterchase Drive, received local approval for a commercial amusement entertainment center in April.
According to Town Planner Kimberley A. Ricci, the plan includes a trampoline park with games rooms and rental space for children's parties.
Built in 1988, the plaza sits on 8.8 acres and includes 94,944 square feet of retail and 26,164 square feet of office space, according to assessing records.
