Sacred Heart University launched a new physician assistant (PA) studies program at Stamford Hospital’s Tandet Center in August and next week will dedicate the hospital space it renovated for the program.

Sacred Heart renovated the entire 13,000-square-foot second floor of the Tandet Center to house the PA program, which has 28 students. The space includes state-of-the-art labs, classrooms and a patient assessment suite.

The PA program is working closely with Stamford Hospital and will have many of its key clinical rotation sites there. The PA program runs 27 months.
