Shelton medical building sells to pediatrics team

A multi-tenant medical office building in Shelton has been sold for more than $1.6 million to a team of pediatricians.

The 12,480-square-foot space at 25 Constitution Boulevard South sold to Shelton-based Riverview Management LLC for $1.63 million. 

Riverview is controlled by principals Dr. Melanie Georgas, Dr. Nicholas Mongillo, Dr. Christa Johnson, and Dr. Michelle Rivelli, all of whom are pediatricians affiliated with Bridgeport Hospital and Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital group.

The building was sold by 25 Constitution Blvd LLC and principal Sandra Cooper, in a deal recorded Aug. 30, according to town land records.

Built in 1997, the office sits on 2.8 acres and has room for several tenants, and had recently been occupied by a pediatrics office and a fitness center.

The property has a total appraised value of $1.9 million.
