Long-time Shipman & Goodwin partner Daniel A. Schwartz has been elected to a three-year term on the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Board of Governors.
Connecticut has representation on the ABA Board once every decade.
According to the law firm’s web site, Schwartz has decades of experience working in a variety of areas including employment discrimination, retaliation and whistleblowing cases, trade secrets, wage and hour class actions, and commercial litigation.
Schwartz has been an ABA delegate since 2005 and a member of the ABA nominating committee since 2015.
Schwartz received his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1995.
The ABA is the world’s largest voluntary association of lawyers.
