A new virtual golf facility is coming to the Shops at Farmington Valley this year, one of four new tenants expected to move into the retail shopping center in 2022, officials announced.
Golf Lounge 18, an indoor virtual golf business, is set to open its fifth storefront at the shopping center during the summer. Driphouse, a sweat therapy center, will also open over the summer.
Woof Gang Dog Bakery & Grooming, a specialty pet food and supplies retailer and groomer, is set to open in the spring, and Mercato Italian Kitchen & Bar is scheduled to open at some point in the year.
According to Golf Lounge 18’s website, the business currently has three other locations in Connecticut and one in New York. The business features virtual golfing bays with Trackman 4 Technology and more than 65 courses worldwide to play virtually. The business has a full bar and several televisions throughout.
The new Driphouse will be the company’s first in the state to add to three existing in New York. The business offers sweat detoxification and cold therapy services.
Woof Gang, an Avon-based business, will open its second location in the state. This will also be the second location for Mercato.
The planned openings in 2022 will add to the three new storefronts that opened last year: BodyFit Physical Therapy; Jefferson Fry; and Sleep Number.
In total, the Shops at Farmington Valley includes more than 45 specialty stores and restaurants.
