Sportech to provide betting technology to Penn. racing club

Sportech, the operator of 18 parimutuel betting parlors across Connecticut, said a racing club north of Philadelphia has selected it to provide new digital and mobile betting platforms.

Sportech said the contract is part of a broader deal to provide other “totalisator” betting services to Parx Racing, located at Parx Casino in Bensalem, Penn., and to associated off-track betting sites.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Parx, a longtime Sportech customer, will replace its existing advanced-deposit wagering systems with Sportech's G4 betting website platform and Digital Link mobile betting app, Sportech said.

The company said it has deployed more than 25 websites and 25 mobile apps for customers across the world.
