State IDs general lottery winners for cannabis product packager, transporter licenses

The state this week named the three product packagers and two transporter businesses moving on with the cannabis business licensing process.

Notably, one of the companies named was selected in the lottery for both licenses.

The product packagers are:

  • Global Sales & Marketing LLC, which couldn’t be found in the state’s business search database
  • Bud's Goods, which names Massachusetts resident Alexander Mazin as CEO
  • 351 Burnham LLC, which names New York resident Paige Cecchi as principal

The transporters are:

  • NMB BPT LLC, which names Bridgeport resident Amir Isufi and New York residents Enkelejd Isufi and Agron Gjyriqi as principals.
  • Global Sales & Marketing LLC

Now, these applicants and their backers must submit additional information for DCP’s  required background check before provisional licenses are doled out. The background check will be conducted by a third-party processing company and DCP’s review of the applications is expected to take several weeks.

General cannabis lotteries include all non-social equity applicants as well as social equity applicants not selected in that lottery.
