Stratford plaza sells for $3M

A Stratford retail plaza with a fitness center and auto rental storefront has been sold for nearly $3 million.
Beardsley Commons LLC and principal John Sabo bought the property at 99 Beardsley Ave., for $2.95 million from 1220 Broadway LLC, Saugatuck Realty Partners LLC, in a deal recorded March 7, according to town land records.
The plaza was built in 1995 and features more than 24,000 square feet of space.
The property changed hands in 2008 when it was sold for $2.68 million, then to 1220 Broadway in 2011 for $2.88 million.
Tenants include Avis Car Rental and Powerhouse Gym.
