Amidst a global expansion, Sandwich maker Subway is seeking 150 new employees at its headquarters this year, according to the Milford-based company.
So far, Subway has added 12 members to its headquarters team in the areas of digital marketing, technology, restaurant operations, guest care, and public relations. New hires come will support the franchisees of nearly 45,000 restaurants and millions of customers around the world, said Lisa Shea, Subway’s vice president of human resources.
Sixty positions are available now, with 150 total expected by the end of 2017, Shea said. The company currently employs 900 at its Milford campus, she added.
A focus will be hiring top digital and technology talent to fill 75 roles this year, the company said. In June, the firm launched Subway Digital to enhance its presence on the web.
Director positions in Milford have also been recently filled in global public relations and restaurant operations. Both segments are hiring more employees.
