The former Blue Horse restaurant in West Haven will soon become a tapas bar establishment.
A new tenant has signed a three-year lease for the property, which is at 701-703 Campbell Ave.
Realtor Tom Doyle of Colonial Properties in Orange represented the landlord, York Business Center LLC, in leasing the 2,250-square-foot restaurant space.
Ricardo Williams from William Real Estate and Property Management represented the new tenant, Hijos Del Jaya LLC.
Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.
Hijos Del Jaya was formed in April, and its principals include Juan Reyes and Severo Brito of West Haven, according to the Secretary of the State’s office.
According to Colonial Properties, the new tenant plans to do renovations, and once those are complete, the site will reopen as a tapas bar.
