What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
I am proud of my work. Being able to find a diverse vendor and help them navigate through the process and grow from it is a win of its own. This work provides me with various accomplishments my child and supporters will be proud of.
How are you involved in the community?
I serve as the president emeritus for the Prospanica Connecticut Chapter. I have served on this board for seven years starting as the compliance officer/secretary to president from 2018 to the end of 2020.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I love to spend time with my son, partner and our two rescue dogs. Family time is the most important activity to help get through these times. We like to go on walks, hikes or just hang out in the backyard and have fun.
What part of work life did you miss most during the pandemic?
The interaction with my teammates and the community feeling we have at Stanley with the participation in employee resource group events is what I miss the most during this pandemic. Something about connecting with people you are normally not working with helps to strengthen that sense of belonging.
Four reasons why you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty:
Work in a niche role, not all organizations support this initiative.
Have been published in many articles and papers for best practice sharing.
Involved with Prospanica Connecticut Chapter for more than seven years.
Recipient of HBJ Next Generation Leadership Award.
