Test equipment maker Bloomy buys S. Windsor property for $2.3M

Windsor-based Bloomy Controls has acquired an industrial/warehouse property across the river in South Windsor for $2.3 million.
The company, which makes automated testing equipment and other systems used in the aerospace, electric vehicle, power grid and electronics industries, acquired 68 Nutmeg Road S. on Oct. 21, records show.
The company’s plans for the nearly 28,000-square-foot building weren’t immediately clear, as officials there did not respond to a request for comment Tuesday.
Bloomy is currently headquartered on Marshall Phelps Road in Windsor, and it also has locations in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Texas.
