Property and casualty insurer The Hartford has appointed a former C-suite executive at two publicly traded companies to its board of directors, effective July 1.
Kathleen Winters will join the board, filling a position vacated by Edmund Reese, who was recently named chief financial officer of the European financial services company Aon.
Winters was previously chief financial officer of HR services company Automatic Data Processing Inc., based in New Jersey. Before that, she was chief financial officer of New York City-based finance company MSCI Inc.
She has also worked for Honeywell International Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she began her career.
Winters, who has an accounting degree from Boston College, also serves on the boards of Global Business Travel Group Inc. and Definitive Healthcare Corp.
