The Hartford to launch on-site small biz shop

Property and casualty insurer The Hartford is set to debut its new small business shop this week in its downtown headquarters.
The company says it will unveil the new HartMob shop, which is an existing program connecting employees with the customers The Hartford insures, on Friday in the lobby of its tower building at One Hartford Plaza.
The HartMob program, created in 2012 by a group of employees, previously was based at the customers’ location or online.
Manchester’s Divine Treasures chocolate shop will be the first customer in the retail space, officials said. A different customer will occupy the shop every day during National Small Business Week from May 5 to May 11, and once a month thereafter.
The Hartford says it insures more than 1 million small business customers.
