Ryan Fisher recently joined The Milford Bank as a vice president in its commercial lending department.
Fisher, a Milford resident, assists small business clients with the bank’s commercial products and services.
Fisher has been involved in the area banking community for 15 years, and his background also includes managing business relationships, business development and operations. He most recently served as a regional business banker with Patriot Bank.
Susan Shields, the bank’s president and CEO, said, “Ryan is a seasoned commercial lending professional with a proven track record of success, and I’m thrilled to have him join our team.”
The Milford Bank, founded in 1872, has five offices and a loan center in Milford, an office in Stratford and a loan production office in downtown New Haven.

Attorney Dinora Lopez joins Liberty Bank
Liberty Bank has hired Dinora Lopez of Glastonbury as senior vice president and associate general counsel.
David W. Glidden, president and CEO of the Middletown-based bank, said of Lopez, “She brings to Liberty Bank exactly what we were looking for: proven legal experience, an unwavering commitment to the community, a terrific reputation and a teammate who is the right fit for our culture.”
Lopez started in her new role on Feb. 1. She most recently was in private law practice. During her career, she has provided counsel to senior leaders at banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions.
Most recently, she was a senior associate with Gfeller Laurie LLP. Lopez began her law career with Ford & Paulekas LLP, where she started as a paralegal and ultimately became a partner.
Lopez is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association.
