These 14 CPAs are the best in Connecticut, according to Forbes
Fourteen licensed accountants based in Connecticut were recently named to Forbes’ inaugural “America’s Best-In-State CPAs” list.
They were selected based on weighted criteria that includes expertise, innovation, thought leadership, experience and service to the community and to their profession, according to Forbes.
With CPAs retiring in record numbers, and fewer students graduating with accounting degrees, Forbes said “demand for the best of the best CPAs is at an all-time high.”
Glastonbury-based accounting firm Fiondella, Milone & LaSaracina LLP had three partners on the list, more than any other firm in the state.
The best CPAs in Connecticut, according to Forbes, are:
- Drew Andrews – CEO, Whittlesey in Hartford;
- Achille A. Apicella – Principal, Apicella, Testa in Shelton;
- David Bailey – Managing partner, Bailey Scarano in Branford;
- Dennis Cole – Managing partner, BHCB in New Haven;
- Mark Crowley – National director, Deloitte in Weston;
- Muhammad Malloy – Tax manager, CohnReznick in Hartford;
- Frank Milone – Founding partner, Fiondella Milone & LaSaracina in Glastobury;
- Amber Moore – Partner, Goldblatt Bokoff in Norwich;
- Darin L. Offerdahl – Partner, Offerdahl Emerson & Co. in Shelton;
- Charlene Santora – Founder, Santoro CPA in Shelton;
- Dominic Scarano – Partner, Bailey Scarano in Branford;
- Justin Wilcox – Partner, Fiondella Milone & LaSaracina in Glastonbury;
- Lisa Willauer – Founding partner, Fiondella Milone & LaSaracina in Glastonbury;
- Heather Ziegler – Managing partner, Deloitte in Stamford.
