A three-story office building on Stamford’s busy Summer Street has changed hands for $2.15 million, according to city records.
The 23,778-square-foot building, at 1150 Summer St., was purchased by Summer Ep LLC, controlled by Ira Schwartz, who lists a Brooklyn, N.Y., business address.
The seller of the brick-and-glass structure was Eleven 50 Summer ST ASSOC LTD, controlled by Stamford-based Peglar & Associates Inc., land records show.
Peglar & Associates bought the building in 1992 for $1.5 million in 1992, according to property records. The building was appraised at $3.73 million and assessed at $2.61 million in 2024.
It was listed for $2.5 million, according to a brochure from listing broker Cushman & Wakefield’s capital markets group.
“For small to mid-sized corporate tenants seeking quality access to the region’s transportation arteries, 1150 Summer Street is an attractive option allowing the property to remain competitive for a broad spectrum of tenant sizes,” it said.
