You can still buy tickets for the UConn women’s basketball game against the University of Southern California Saturday night at the XL Center.
But it will cost you.
The average ticket price for the game is $127 on the secondary market – the highest ever for a UConn women’s home game, according to Victory Live, a ticketing technology company tracking secondary market sales.
Demand for tickets is especially high because of the rivalry between UConn star Paige Bueckers and the USC Trojans’ JuJu Watkins.
Their most notable encounter was in the 2024 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, where UConn defeated USC 80-73.
Saturday’s game, which starts at 8 p.m., is officially sold out, but tickets are still available on secondary market websites such as StubHub.com.
The previous record average ticket price was set during UConn’s matchup with South Carolina in February 2023, also held at the XL Center.
The average home game ticket price for UConn this season is $57, up $5 from this time last year.
The XL Center can accommodate roughly 10,000 spectators.
