Top demand for Super Bowl tix on secondary market

South Windsor-based TicketNetwork is reporting the Super Bowl 50 matchup between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers is going to be the hottest ticket on the secondary market this year.

As of noon on Jan. 25, the average ticket price for the game is roughly $6,300. The "get in" price of tickets is $3,400 (meaning the lowest available price) and the range is between $3,400 and $20,000. The median ticket price is roughly $5,250.

As of 1:30 pm on Jan. 25, there was more than $15 million in inventory available in tickets to the game. The overall most popular areas for ticket orders come from:

  • California, 30.6 percent;
  • North and South Carolina, 7.3 percent; and,
  • Colorado, 4.8 percent.

The Super Bowl this year is taking place at at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
