A Torrington-based builder and developer recently paid $950,000 for a fully leased office complex of three buildings totaling 11,383-square feet in downtown Torrington.
Torrington-based Yield Properties LLC bought the complex on one-fifth of an acre at 32 City Hall Ave., from Florida-based City Hall Avenue Properties LLC in a deal recorded by the town on Jan. 27.
The property is currently fully leased to PRIA Healthcare, which helps medical technology companies with clinical trials, FDA approval for devices and securing reimbursements for patients.
Yield Investments is headed by Craig Bothroyd, of Goshen. Bothroyd also owns Torrington-based construction company Yield Industries.
The seller’s principal is Michael Simon, founder of PRIA Healthcare Management. Simon is principal of both PRIA and City Hall Avenue Properties, companies that share a common
Litchfield address, according to state business records.
An attempt to reach a PRIA representative Wednesday morning was not immediately successful.
The Torrington property hosts three attached buildings, a 7,938-square-foot masonry and wood construction office building completed in 1972, a 1,748-square-foot metal-sided warehouse completed in 1930 and a 1,697-square-foot, wood-framed office also completed in 1930.
The listing broker was Mario Longobucco of Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty.
