Travelers Championship will be final ‘signature event’ on PGA Tour schedule in 2025

The 2025 Travelers Championship, entering its third year of elevated status, will be the last “signature event” of the PGA Tour’s 2025 season.
The Travelers Championship will be held June 18 to 22 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.
It’s the 19th consecutive year that property and casualty insurer Travelers Cos., which has a large presence in Hartford, has been the title sponsor.
Travelers has a title sponsorship agreement with the PGA Tour through 2030, and the tournament is slated to be a signature event every year during that time, the company said.
The Travelers Championship will be one of only eight signature events during the 2025 PGA Tour season.
Being a signature event provides an elevated tournament purse of $20 million and guarantees some of the world’s top-ranked golfers will compete at the tournament.
The 2024 Travelers Championship included seven of the top eight players in the Official World Golf Ranking and was won in a playoff by Scottie Scheffler, the No. 1 ranked player in the world.
“Travelers has played a critical role in our shared goal of becoming one of the best events on the PGA TOUR, leading us to eventually become a Signature Event,” said Travelers Championship Tournament Director Nathan Grube. “We are fortunate to have them as our title sponsor, and we appreciate their long-standing commitment.“
Since 2007, when Travelers became the title sponsor, the tournament has generated more than $31 million for over 900 charities. It raised a record of more than $3.2 million for 206 organizations in 2024.
Corporate ticket packages are available now, and individual tickets are expected to go on sale in early April.
