Property and casualty insurer Travelers Cos. will return as a Hartford Athletic founding partner as part of a multi-year agreement, the soccer club announced today.
Athletic CEO Nick Sakiewicz said Travelers has been essential to many community initiatives since the team’s inception in 2019, including the Community Ticket Program, which has donated thousands of tickets to children and families who would not otherwise be able to attend a match, along with Pop-Up Soccer, and STEM and Soccer Education Day.
The company, which has major operations in Hartford, has also been the presenting partner of the Family Fun Zone, which provides a space for family-friendly activities during home matches at Trinity Health Stadium.
As part of the multi-year collaboration, Travelers will enjoy premium visibility with signage prominently displayed throughout the stadium. Team officials did not disclose the value of the partnership.
Travelers is also this year’s presenting partner of the club’s annual Supporter’s Appreciation Night on Aug. 24.
Hartford Athletic play their home opener this Saturday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Health Stadium. Tickets are available at hartfordathletic.com/tickets.
