Tunxis Biz Professor Receives CT Board of Regents Teaching Award

Tunxis Community College announced that business professor Amy Feest was chosen from among seven Connecticut Community College nominees as the 2017 winner of the Connecticut Board of Regents System Teaching Excellence Award. Feest, a professor of marketing and coordinator of the business administration program, received the award in April at the Connecticut Board of Regents meeting, in recognition of her outstanding teaching and for promoting instructional improvements within her program.

Day Pitney Partners Namita Tripathi Shah and Elizabeth Alquist of the firm's Hartford office were honored as 2017 “Women Worth Watching” by Profiles in Diversity Journal. This is the 16th annual recognition of standout women who were nominated by their employers, colleagues, peers and mentors for their achievements and contributions, both to their organizations and their coworkers.

Leah Reimer Named One of the Top 250 Women in IP 2017

Leah M. Reimer has been named one of the Top 250 Women in IP for 2017 by Managing Intellectual Property. Reimer is the co-chair of Hartford law firm Cantor Colburn's chemical, materials, and life sciences department in Hartford. She provides Fortune 50 and other technology-based companies with sophisticated, creative solutions to complex legal and technical issues.
